Creating effective partnerships is one of the major goals of GTC.  Thus, we support organizations that wish to host one or more of our workshops. For every ten (10) paid attendees, the host receives one free workshop enrollment.  The host can use this enrollment to send an employee or invite representative(s) from other agencies.

One of the key benefits of hosting a workshop is the assistance an organization is willing to lend to other institutions in their area. This is one way of working effectively with similar organizations in projects and grant proposals that encourage partnerships and community outreach.

We request the following from our hosts:

A lecture style room for 30 or more persons with a blackboard, chalk, flip charts, and ability to connect to the internet (the latter is not mandatory).

Publicizing the workshop in their area to organizations that could benefit from this workshop such as nonprofit organizations, government agencies and educational institutions.  This is most effective through a personal contact made via a phone call or e-mail encouraging participation.

     Parking facilities for participants

We supply the following:

Inclusion of the name of your institutions in the training materials and future publicity of GTC, an overview of your organization in our national directory, to be included on our website, and a special certificate of appreciation to our hosts encouraging outreach and partnerships within their community.
