Institutional Membership
As you are well aware, external funding has become a necessity for many institutions and it is within this purview that we work with the offices of sponsored research, colleges, schools and departments to augment their activities and to assist them in their training efforts. Much of our work is on a case by case basis and it is focused on training at the various levels of proposal writing for federal, foundation, corporate and individual giving. For example, we have developed three days of training for faculty and administrators on how to write winning grants and/or focused training on how to write successfully for the National Science Foundation (NSF) or the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
We work with institutions that either have a well-established culture of grant related activities and external support or are in the process of developing this culture. They understand that in order for their programs to succeed, faculty, staff and administrators need to be given a roadmap and the training to do so. In collaboration with the Grant Training Center, they can achieve over a 50% rate in winning grants.
