Participants during day one will learn:
- Anatomy of a Grant: Common Pitfalls & How to Avoid Them
- Building an Airtight Case for Funding
- Address the Pieces of the Request for Proposal
- Compose the Pieces of a Research Grant Proposal
- Package the Proposal in the Requested Format
- Understand the New Scoring System and the Review Process
- Learn What actually Happens in the Study Section
- Identify How to Search for the Appropriate Study Sections For Submissions
- Parsing Pink Sheets: The Inevitable Resubmission
Participants during day two will:
- Understand how the NIH review works
- Participate in mock-panels
- Review and dissect an actual winning proposal
- Discuss their specific proposals with other participants or with the instructor
- Have one-on-one sessions with faculty teaching the course
A discount of $25.00 per person will be given if more than one person registers from the same organization.
